Bodrum Castle

Museum of Underwater Archaeology
This is the real treasure hidden inside the castle walls. Shipwrecks pulled straight from the sea carry trade routes dating back to 3,300 BC (Bronze Age). It’s widely considered one of the most important wreck sites on the planet.
Actual remnants of ancient ships thousands of years old sit right here. You’ll see cargo jars for wine, olive oil, and grain. Forget the typical museum layout. This is basically a historical showcase pulled straight from the seabed.

Bodrum Bar Street
Back in the 70s to 90s, these streets were just a quiet fishing village. Nothing like today’s crowds. Artists and writers used to hang out here. Heavyweights like Wikipedia: Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı shaped the whole vibe.

Walk down Bar Street and you’ll notice it fast. Awnings stretch the whole length. They block out the brutal midday sun.

Ortakent Yahşi Beach
Just a 10-minute hop from Bitez. Ortakent Beach is famous for its spotless water. Paid loungers sit right next to open public zones.

Akyarlar Karaincir Beach
